tracing your roots

As a church with a rich history we are aware that we have deep links to many families around the globe. We would be delighted to renew those links with you and have provided some information that we hope will be of assistance.

If you are planning a visit to the church we would encourage you to join us on Sunday for public worship. This allows us to make a modern connection equivalent to the one you are tracing. Perhaps there are things you have discovered which you could share and perhaps there are those who worship with some memory of the things you know of.

If you would like to see records from over 50 years ago they are stored in Callendar House. Most helpfully Callendar House have an online searchable database of their archive which will allow you to see at a glance if they have any items that may be of relevance to you. You can then plan your visit to allow time at the ‘Kirk’ and viewing the archives.

Callendar House have more information online about the Falkirk Archives.
